2015 Cabernet Sauvignon

Splashing into the glass, the dense purple color of this Cabernet sets the stage of much more enjoyment to come.  Scents of blueberry and currents dominate the fruit profile.  Soon, delectable French oak and all the myriad aromas a barrel can bring, make their contribution. And to help the oak rein in a wine which could have become a fruit bomb, fantastic complexing aromas of leather round out the package.

In the mouth the palate is caressed with ripe, creamy, and well integrated tannins.  These finessed tannins amplify the mid-palate and create a sense of fullness. Juicy flavors echoing the aromas join with refreshing acidity to create an elegant red wine with finesse and pinpoint balance. This wine is destined for a flavorful long life and will continue to evolve positively over the next decade.
